easily accessible log file RRS feed

  • I keep receiving messages on the client pc about failures that are happening (backups not complete, folder duplication cannot span more than one hard drive) which is great but in my opinion they should not be delivered to the client instead they need to be logged at the server.  these log messages should be easily accessible from the console page.

  • All of that information should be available in the console, under Network Health. If you want to prevent the popups on client PCs you can remove the Windows Home Server item from the startup group on any client PC where you don't want to see them. The connector will still run on startup, so backups will still occur on schedule, but the PC won't have the tray icon or popups.
