Is FetchXML in an iFrame is it supported in MS CRM 2011? RRS feed

    Hi All,

    I have migrated crm4.0 application to crm2011. In crm4.0 they are using fetchxml in an iframe method to display some data over tab click, i want to ask if same " fetchxml in an iframe method" is still valid in ms-crm2011.  Please let me know.

    I am assuming that ou are using FetchXML in Javascript and showing that data to iFram.

    That is supported solution. Yes it is valid.

    We are alloed to do this.

    When you have migrated CRM 4 with this solution to CRM 2011, the solution should have been migrated to CRM 2011 and should work well. If it is not supported method then it would have some other effect or message or removal solution after migration.

    hi Mohammad

     FetchXML is support , but there is anew way to query data which

     OData queries in a CRM Form using JSON,

     there are standard template to use.

    Just set the odataSelect below to your OData select url,

    and use the appropriate return method.

    SDK has few good example .
