    I hav read somewhere that it`s to be coded purely in c#

    Is it true?

    Initital rounds of the imagine cup do not require you to know any language. the intial rounds are done using Herbert

     

    The final rounds do require you to code using .NET languages. But you can learn them on your way to the finals.

    .Net is the name of a technology...its implemented using various languages...some of the supported languages r C#, VB, C++ etc...C# is mainly built for .Net...so c# and .Net r used interchangably...
