  • [Windows 2008] [IIS 6.0 FTP] SOS ~ FTP login failed

    I want Visual Studio to deploy WebSite to IIS Web Server through FTP Server


    on Windows 2008

    (1)

    IIS 6.0 FTP , Default FTP Site
    I set Home Directory of "Default FTP Site" to "C:\FTPServer",
    I connect if from another PC,  and use "administrator" account to login successful.


    (2)
    IIS 6.0 FTP , stop "Default FTP Site"
    I create "FTP2", Home Directory "C:\FTPServer", start "FTP2",
    I connect if from another PC,  and use "administrator" account to login, but failed, why ?

    C:\Documents and Settings\lu>ftp 10.3.111.173
    Connected to 10.3.111.173.
    220 Microsoft FTP Service
    User (10.3.111.173:(none)): administrator
    331 Password required for administrator.
    Password:
    530 User administrator cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
    Login failed.
    ftp>


    What do I set again ?
