I have a relative new Dell that came with Vista loaded and I purchased an authentic copy for MS Office 2007 from a University computer store. I have not previously had any problems with any Office component until tonight when I tired to download a calendar template and Office failed authentication validation. The error message indicated the Office 2003 is not valid which is ridiculous given that I have never had Office 2003 on this machine.
I just ran the MGAD tool and here is the diagnostic report:

You have two versions of Office Suite installed. The version Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003 is giving you the PID Error code 104. Please uninstall this one and you should be up and running.
