Question

I used to have genuine validated software but after installing and update to ie, it is now not valid. I have spent hours trying to fix it. Help! I ran the diagnostic tool. I have turned off firewalls, disabled mcafee. What now? I'm tired of this.

SandyLL,
Did you click on the "Resolve" button when you ran the mgadiag utility? The utility has the ability to correct some of the cryptographic issues. If using the Resolve button does not correct your problems, you are likely looking at a backup/offload of data and clean installation of XP as the solution. If you look on your report, it is showing 11 vital system fles as being "mismatched" which means they may be altered or otherwise tampered with, resulting in the crypto error.
