    Yesterday i downloaded and installed windows live writer. When i try to connect to my live space account, i am getting the following error...

    WindowsLiveWriter,2276,None,00004,06-Oct-2008 10:08:18.937,"PassportAuth error: WindowsLive.Writer.Passport.PassportBadUserPassException (0x80048821): Bad member name or password.
       at WindowsLive.Writer.Passport.PassportAuth.Chk(Int32 hresult)",""

    I can understand that it is related to user account from error description. But i can still login in web environment. I tried all the options including firewall settings turned off...

    Do you happen to use Windows Live Messenger? If so, can you successfully log in using that?
