    The problem is that you have a phone running a very early beta of the Office Communicator Phone Edition software and that beta is not compatible with OCS 2007 RTM. I recommend you to talk to the company/people where you obtained the device and ask for a solution through them.

  • I have had a similar problem with old firmware version; I have solved it by importing the root CA certificate through an USB stick.

  • Just fyi the option of accessing the underlying operating system on the Office Communicator Phone Edition for various activities, like the one mentioned above, is not available on the RTM builds.

  • I know - this is only possible in older firmware releases but it was necessary for me to be able to sign in which is a requirement for flashing new firmware. BTW - I never saw an environment where flashing new firmware requires such a complex installation...


    I still wonder if there is some secret key combination at boot time to get hold of Windows CE.


    As we are talking about Tanjay: Will there be any kind of beta program for future firmware releases? I could imagine much more functionality using CE and touchscreen; I have somewhere already seen screenshots of calendar functions etc.
