THis would be best handled in the XP forum, however you have a blocked VLK meaning that the key used is a known, pirated key.

You have two issues - one with Office, and one with Windows....You did not receive earlier notices of an invalid install of Windows, due to not having properly updated your system. This may be because the installer used had a 'block' on the relevant updates, or because you never properly updated your system. The fact is that you have now been notified, and should do something about it - note that I do not say HAVE to do something about it!You should first establish the source of your problem - usually it's because you mistakenly bought a Windows product through a non-legitimate source, and so part of the blame has to devolve on you, for attempting to acquire a product 'on the cheap'. Sometimes, it;s because the vendor doesn't have a clue about the licenses they've bought - but they really do have to be totally clueless for that to apply, and no such vendor could exist for more than a day on eBay!There is no such thing as a 'warranty card' in respect of either Windows or Office - if you purchase the legitimate product, the key is always referred to as the Product Key, and the relevant parts of the package are referred to as the 'Proof of Purchase. Once installed, it's fair to describe the details of the PID and PK, and related information as the License, although it's not legally correct, since the terms of Use for Windows specify the exact details, and it would appear that your current install does not meet these requirements.Office and Windows are two entirely different products - and as such require two Keys for both to be activated properly. You need to first ensure that Windows is properly activated and validated, so that your activation of any Office product is demonstrably valid.
