Exam 70-649 Retirement Date Change?

Hey everybody.

Previously Exam 70-649 had been set to retire the end of this month (on July 31st, 2013). When checking the Microsoft web site this evening I noticed that the retirement date listed was January 31st, 2014.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a glitch? Am I seeing things? Can anyone else confirm?

It would be nice to know that I don't need to rush to meet a deadline at the end of this month.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Hey,

Exam retire dates are available here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/retired-certification-exams.aspx

70-649 is listed as retiring on January 31, 2014. It appears that most of the 2008 certifications are retiring around then too, so I doubt this is an error, but probably more of a push towards Microsofts new certifications.
