    Hi All,

    I got a problem when deloyment of IFD MS CRM 2016.

    I already installed and setup IFD, ADFS and WAP, but the current status is I can access the CRM from internal network but not from external (internet).

    please suggestion how to troubleshoot about this?

    How far do you get when trying to connect externally. The normal process is

    1. User tries to connect to https://<orgname>.domain . The they then get an error, again check the IFD configuration in CRM

    Hi David,

    thanks for your reply.

    The current situation is we need different domain url between internal url and external url, ie: internal: org1.xyz.com and external: org1.abc.com. And the user always maintain from xyz.com AD.

    is it possible?

    Hi,

    I don't think that's possible since the WAP can only map org1.abc.com externally to org1.abc.com internally if I've understood things correctly. I tried to do another map once but got an error from the WAP saying the entries must match. You also have the certificate on the CRM for contoso.com or whatever so you'd get a certificate warning if you come from another domain.

    There might be a way of going round this but not to my knowledge
