Can there be non-case sensitive sorting of files? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I don't like the sorting of files that does not seem to disregard whether the filenames are in uppercase or in lowercase, maybe such tests can be done across operating systems, browsers, devices and so on.

I use Windows 10 however, this might be an issue relating to other versions and platforms.

I was re-directed here by a moderator on the Microsoft Community.

Moreover translation issues are relevant to many users, who are English speaking, where translation engines are reported to have slightly complicated syntax to be able to get the grammar and learning curve smoother.

  • Hi slyth,

What the type of your project is? Is it a Windows Forms application?

Which language did you use for your purpose? C#? VB.NET?

The most important, what do you mean that sorting of files? What files?

Sorry I can not understand what you mean, please provide more details for it.

    Regards,

    Frankie
