Feature update to Windows 10 (version 1909) - failed install attempt - 0x80070001

Question

Hello,
Does anybody know how to make it work please? I have been trying for many times but my Windows 10 laptop has repeatedly failed to install version 1909 quoting (problem?) 0x80070001 and displaying the following text:
Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909
Last failed install attempt on 19/10/2020 - 0x80070001
I really don't understand why and how to make it work! Please write me simple instructions on how to make it work if you know how to resolve this. Much appreciated and many thanks for your support.
Best regards,
Emilio
