Unable to update port forwarding RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have set up my WHS and I had to manually forward the ports in my router. I can access my home server from the outside, connect to the Console on the Home server over internet and remote to PC's registered with WHS thru the web interface. But the little WHS icon in the taskbar on all the clients is orange "Windows Home server Network health at risk". But the only problem is the error "Windows Home Server was unable to update port forwarding" keeps popping up from the icon all the time on all the client PCs. Since I am able to use WHS as intended, I am assuming that this error is being driven by the UPnP failure to forward ports.I can go into the console and open setting to tell WHS to ignore this error and everything seems to be ok for a while and then it comes back. Is this error something that I need to be concerned about? If it is not, how do I turn the error off.
