    Help my pc keeps saying its at risk! my firewall somehow got disabled and One care doesnt allow me to turn it back on, So after several reboots i finally just uninstalled this. I attempted to reinstall this and get more problems...


    1st: I don't remember my original One care live id and password

    2nd: it says my product key already exists

    3rd and last: Now i cant reinstall this software my computer is still at risk for viruses, I have not had any success with online support nor can i find a human to help me fix this problem!



    I purchased this product less than 3 months ago and I am VERY disatisfied with this product and it's lack of performance, I will not waste my money and time on this product nor will I ever reccomend this. I have wasted 3 months and over $70 on this software alone and now due to it inability to work correctly may have to purchase a whole new pc, this is unaceptable!


    Please contact me asap so we can get this product working correctly on my pc.

    The first problem you have is the most important one to resolve first. This is a forum, meaning customers helping customers.

    If you don't recall the LiveID you used for your subscription, you will need to contact support who can provide that information to you using your Key and/or contact information.

    You will need to use the email support path - select that you are a trial user.


    Alternatively, sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com with email addresses that you have set up as LiveIDs and one will show your subscription listed - that would the LiveID to use to activate with.

    Unofficial path - send me an email at sboots@mvps.org with a subject line including "OneCare" (to get past my spam filtering) and in the message body, tell me what country you are in, your forum nickname, and paste this link http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3428254&SiteID=2 in the message body. I am not online 24x7, so you may be waiting for a reply, but I'll do my best to hook you up with support.
