vista not validating RRS feed

  • Question

  •

Hi Hope someone can help, i recently installed Vista and it worked fine, now it has installed some updates and now everytime i switch the cpu on it says vista is not genuine, it does give me the option of going online to validate my copy, i do this and it confirms i am now using a valid copy of Vista the downloads further updates etc, i then shut down my cpu having done what i have wanted.

This is when it starts to get annoying when i come to use my pc again and boot it up it can take anywhere upto 10 hours to configure the updates and then still says that it is not a genuine copy and asks me to validate it again.

after waiting for the updates to be configured on start-up doing this again the cpu goes on it says my copy is not genuine and will not let me access the "control Panel" or Media player.

PLEASE can someone tell me what i can do, or at least let me trade Vista for a copy of XP (any version)

    Thanks,

    Philip

Hi,  The problem i have is not thi have to re-enter any information, it boots up saying its not a valid copy of Vista, then i click on the link to validate this online.

After taking the link to the Validation tool it confirms to me that it is a valid copy and is now able to be used in full, but it doesn't seem to have validated it as it still says in the corner of my screen that "this is not a genuine copy" even tho it just confirmed that it is..
