My Windows is not genuine?

Every time I boot up my laptop a message pops up telling me that Windows is not genuine and I need to make it genuine but i don't know how. I saw one of the answers to this problem and this is what I was told to do

Your installation is counterfeit - because someone has installed a hack to force activation of Windows
It looks to me as if this machine originally shipped with Windows 8 installed?
Download WATFix - make sure that you UNTICK the box for the 'download manager, and click on the link on the left of the page, not the big shiny button on the right (which is an ad for the download manager!!) - and use that - extraxt the .exe file, and run it, then reboot.
Post back with another MGADiag report, and we'll then see what we can do.
