help with onecare circle RRS feed

  • Question

  • One care was working on my hub and two laptops.  Now it says, "onecare couldn't find this pc."  I have tried several different suggestions without success.  Also there is one computer that has a name i don't recognize.  How do i find out if this is one of the laptops so that I can rename it?

  • To know the name of the computer:

    Go to Control Panel > Open System > Click on Computer Name tab > It will show you your Full computer name.

     

    In regards with onecare "couldn't find this pc"

    Kick that computer out of your onecare circle.

    From onecare circle > Click on the computer name > choose remove this PC.

     

    If you will have a computer that will removed from your subscription, you'll have to sign -in again in that computer using your Live ID to re-establish communication with the HUB PC.

     

    But in the case that after kicking that PC out of the HUB, and no computer was removed from your subscription. It could be just an old record of a computer from the circle. Its really not a existing computer.
