MS Powerpoint 2010 Default Template - point to file other than blank.potx

  Hello All,

  I feel as though the whole default template was poorly designed.  It seems as though Powerpoint only looks for blank.potx to be the default template.  If you change blank.potx (works fine), but want an actual blank template....choosing blank actually uses the newly created template.  Is there any way around this?  You should be able to change a default template (point ms powerpoint to look for New_Template.potx) and have Blank template still mean blank.

  I need to make this change for about 75 workstations at my company.  Please tell me there is a workaround for this...I can't be the only one looking to do this.
