Backup failure. Looks like it coincides with the Windows 7 upgrade. Any ideas? RRS feed

  • I'm getting a failure backing up the D: drive. C: works fine. A check of the disk shows no errors. The only change in the system was the upgrade to Windows 7.

  • Hi Ray,
    what is on that drive?
Sometimes the easiest way would be to move the data out and reformat the drive.
chkdsk /f /r should be executed from a command prompt started as Administrator.
    Best greetings from Germany
