Hyperlink RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ok, so this has been bothering me since the platform upgrade, but I've never bothered to ask.  Why do hyperlinks paste as text by default?  Obviously the nature of this forum is to help people and put them on the right path, so pasting technet and other links is a regular thing.  Why do I have to go back to the link and make it a hyperlink?

    Am I missing something?

  • Are you using FireFox or other non-Microsoft browser? For me it works on IE, but not on FireFox 2 or 3 (or SeaMonkey).

A new version of the forums is coming soon...

  • hmm, i do use firefox on occasion, but im pretty sure i had issues with ie8 beta as well.  ive since upgraded to ie8 rtm and it seems to work now.  maybe it was just firefox all along.

Glad to hear new forums are comming.  these are nothing but trouble.
