Regain access to second TechNet profile

Question
-
I have a second TechNet profile that I'd like to regain access to. As I understand it, one TechNet profile can only be connected to one Microsoft account. As this TechNet profile is connected to the only Microsoft account that I thought I had, I have no idea what the second TechNet profile is connected to. Is there any way to find that out?
If I should use another support avenue, please let me know.

For security they couldn't do that. You'll need to know at least something about the account to recover it. Some options here to recover your lost or forgotten microsoft account.

Thanks for your quick response.
Forgive me, a few questions to make sure I understand it correctly:
Is it certain that my second TechNet profile was created via a Microsoft account? It couldn't have been created any other way? (FYI: the second profile is from 2011.)
Is it certain that my second TechNet profile was created via a different Microsoft account than the one I'm using now? It couldn't have been created via, say, an alias of the same Microsoft account?
Is it certain that a Microsoft account expires after at most 2 years of inactivity? Does 'expire' mean that the account is deleted and will not show up in the 'username recovery' results?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it would have been another microsoft account. There's a one-to-one relationship between a microsoft account and an MSDN/TechNet profile. As to account policy some info here.

Try using the Open Get Help app here, and you'll eventually get to chat with microsoft account support.

Ah yes, the Get Help app is the chat. But again, when I want to talk to an actual person I must select the product first. Try it for yourself when you type "Talk to an Agent" in the chat.Sunday, July 26, 2020 2:14 PM

Alright, I just had a long chat with Microsoft.
They seem to say that when the connected Microsoft account has long been inactive and is deleted, the TechNet profile is deleted as well. Can you confirm that?

The profile may still be there but just orphaned. You can search for it here.

You have to sign out from one of your accounts , to be signed in one profile.

Probable is true. Also note the MSDN/TechNet forums will close soon.
