Office Communicator Sign in Issue In OCS RRS feed

  • Installed OCS 2007 in domain member server...i cannot able to login from all the users located in active directory users except "OCSADMIN"

    Automatic Login from Office communicator error

    Cannot able to sign in to communication services because the server is temporary unavailable, pleas etry again later. if the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

  • Are the client workstations / desktops members of the AD domain where OCS 2007 / R2 is installed?
    Do they have DNS addresses correctly configured in TCP/IP?
    Did you define the necessary SRV record in the DNS server in AD?

    Just some tips to start checking. Hope this helps.

  • Yes member of AD domain, it'sOCS 2007 SE installed.

    Yes i created SRV record in DNS and Host A record as well,

    made an entry in host file (Host name & IP) rejoined to the domain did all what i could do though unable to login...

  • Can you ping from ur client machine to ocs server pool.
    i.e. the internal server name or IP address in communicator configuration u have given.

  • Perhaps you want to check if the login user to the domain is OCS enabled? This is a separate step needed depending on whether OCS 2007 RTM or R2 (or both) is deployed.
