  • looks to me like your computer shipped with Vista as it has a Vista bios marker.

    if your COA is for windows 7 home premium change your product key to the one on your COA.

    click start, type slui 3, press enter.

    if your COA is not for windows 7 your install is invalid.

  • Well, I bought this straight from Best Buy brand new, and it was supposed to have windows 7, and it was working fine. It started saying that it was invalid and I sent it to Gateway to be fixed. When it came back, it was working perfectly fine up until an update a while back. When I updated the laptop, it started saying it was invalid, again.
