Windows Not Genuine RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I recently clean installed my notebook, and went to activate my valid copy of Windows 7 64 bit, and I am not able to do so because your computers say my copy is not genuine.  I am pasting the information that text support indicated I should do after intalling the Genuine Support Program. Please let me know what I need to do to activate my software.

  • You simply need to use telephone activation, as far as I can see - there is no problem indicated in the report.

     

    telephone activation (operator calls)

     Click on the Start button

    in the Search box, type

    SLUI 4

     and hit the Enter key

    follow the instructions, but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you

  •      You can reactivate your Windows 7 installation by performing the following:

    1. Click on the Start button and in the Start Search box type in: slui.exe 3 and click on the icon that appears.

    2. Type in your Windows 7 Professional 25-character product key.

    3. Follow the instructions for phone activation (no charge).
