Clickonce is stuck (in Pending status) when site is in Compatibility View and PC is connected via VPN RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a site that requires being in IE Compatibility View.
    I can only access this site while connected via VPN.
    However, once added to Compatibility View list, I cannot activate Clickonce to download my application from this site.
    When trying to motitor this action using F12 > Network, I see this request is in Pending state and it stays in this state, for a very long while at least. 

    Can you please suggest a solution?
