Office 2007 Genuine copy failing validation

Question
-
Hi there, I hope somebody can help. I recently purchased a copy of Office 2007 Professional plus. If I understand correctly, I can install it on two computers. I have installed on my desktop pc and everything went fine. When I installed on my laptop, after uninstalling a non genuine copy, everything seemed fine I went through the activation process on line, and it worked. The software then updated and I started getting a message saying that the copy is not geniune, and now it says that it will be deactivated in 13 days!
I have run the WGA diagnostic, and got the following report. Looking at the report, I suspect that the non genuine copy of office enterprise is messing up and prevents activation and validation of the new genuine copy! What can I do??? I have tried re-uninstalling the old office version, but it did not work. Of course, If I ask Office whether the software is activated it says yes, but the report states the the old version is blocked, and the new one is not activated. It seems that I need to find out how to tell WGA to ignore the remnants of the non genuine version and focus the attention on avtivation and validation of the new one!
Thanks for the help.
Freddie

As you have noted, there are two installations of Office on your Samsung computer. In your post you stated that you thought the nongenuine Office Enterprise 2007 installation was interfering with the validation process, and I would agree with you. You also mentioned that you have tried to uninstall the nongenuine Office Enterprise2007 installaiton, but have been unsuccessful. Again, I would agree with your assessment.
I think the solution is going to be the full removal of all installed Office products, and then a fresh installation of your Office Professional Plus 2007.
Microsoft has an automated "FixIt" utility that will automatically remove all installations of Office, which is what we need to do in your situation. Please go to this MS KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179/ and download and run the MS FixIt to remove Office. Once done, restart the computer twice, then begin with a fresh installation of your Office Professional Plus 2007.

Hello Freddie73,
There are still remnants of the old nongenuine installation that we need to clean out. That should have been done with the other FixIt, but for some reason it did not want to run on your system.
Let's try another FixIt. Go to this MS KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919895 and work thru the Methods. If you get to Method 3, that FixIt should take care of the issue, assuming of course your system will let you run it.
After running the FixIt, restart the computer. Open Word and then you should see the activation wizard. Activate online normally. Next, restart the computer. Then, keeping all Office programs closed for the moment, go to www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Office button. Your Office should validate normally. Finally, open several Office programs to ensure you no longer see the nongenuine notices.
Post back to let us know how you do :-)

Hello Freddie73,
Can you please tell us about your purchase of Office Professional Plus 2007? Did you buy it from a local store, or from an online store, thru a purchase program from your place of employment, or thru a purchase program from an educational institution?

Hi Dan,
I tried to run the FixIt, but for some reasons I got an error message stating that the software was not for my system(?). However, you directed me in the right direction, and I took a more radic approach, trying to understand why I could not remove the previous installation. I found detailed instruction on how to remove an office installation by modifiyng the registry. It took long, but it worked, and finally I have managed to activate and validate my Office copy!
Thanks for your help.

Guess what? Today I got again the "this is not a genuine copy" message! It happened after installing the updates of Office. The most irritating thing is that the MGA diagnostic tool give me this result:
