Red balloon/green balloon same time

The balloon on my status bar shows red (at risk) but when I open Live OneCare it shows green. However, it does say "wireless network doesn't have security in place" and says to change the router's wireless security settings. I went ahead with this, received the new network key, closed, and still have the red balloon saying at risk and status green when I open OneCare. Should I be concerned? Do I have to 'reboot' instead of just putting my laptop to sleep? Thanks for any suggestions.
