Ilya,
The error you are recieving is specific to configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. When integrating to CRM 2011 you will need to import the CRM Solution that is specific to your ERP and is located in the Connector's install location. In the case of GP 2010, the solution file that you will need to import is entitled "ConnectorForMicrosoftDynamicsGP.zip". The solution needs to be imported before running the configuration utility, otherwise you will recieve this error message. This is all very well documented in the user guide which is available on Partner Source, on the Connector's download page. You can also view this document by clicking the Help button in the Connector, however the FP 5 version was shipped with the FP4 documentation so it is recomended that you get the latest version from Partner Source.
It is strongly recomended that you read this guide before and during your initial integration.

You probably have to import the set of customizations included for the tool into your organization. If you have existing customizations you will need to merge them prior to doing this.
On a side note:
I have had bad luck with this tool and usually recommend Scribe instead. In my experience you will spend way more time figuring this thing out then you want to. In my experience the labor cost of futzing with this tool would have more than paid for Scribe for this type of integration work if you don't have someone on staff who has gone through the pains that exist with using this tool already.
And no, I don't work for the company. :)

If that is the case you should be able to just import the customization set provided with the tool.

What is the error it give you? Does it give you an error? If not I would run a platform trace and recreate the error and see what it shows.
