More Addresses Lookup error RRS feed

    Hello all,

     

    there is the standard attribute "parentid" on form named "Parent" on the entity form address. When opening the more addresses link from an account left-nav-bar and click on "new" Im able to enter a new address. But in the attribute "Parent" there is nothing filled out! Its empty just with the account icon. If I click on that icon I will be redirected to the account I was coming from.

     

    If I start from a contact, click on more addresses -> new; I still dont see the parent object, only the icon. If I click now on that icon I get an error message that say:

     

    account with ID=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX does not exist!

     

    Thats correct because the listed ID is not an account ID...it is the contact ID I was coming from!

     

    Why does the parent lookup only looks for accounts?

    why is the parent entity not listed?

     

    I have CRM 4.0 with Rollup1

  • Well, it doesnt work as I expect it, but the field "Parent" should'nt be visible on the form! I dont know why it is on my installation, I think somebody published it. I need to unpublish it again.

     

    I dont understand how this works, but I shouldnt care as it is standard! It seems to work CRM-internally!
