Validation failure on promotional offer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Folks,

What gives here?  I get a promo offer, go to the links to try and redeem it.  I get to a specs page for the D-Link gaming router.  Run a sheet that downloads Adobe so I can look at the specs for the router first...  Then decide I want to go ahead and get it.  When I go back and try to run the 'Redeem' process it says I've failed eligibility.  I'm not terribly happy about this.  I just bought this computer, the computer succeeded in the validation the first time - and now I can't seem to get to the free offer.  Can someone please help me get this offer before the deadline expires?  What do I have to do to get the free router?

    Thanks

  • Dear J Benz,

Thank you for your interest in the Buy Local program. It appears that you are trying to redeem an offer for Vista Ultimate though you are running Home Premium. Please try to redeem again and be sure to select the offer for the D-Link GameLounge Gaming router from the Home Premium line and not from Vista Ultimate line. If this does not work please let us know.

    Thank you,

    Beth
