PLEASE HELP!!!
WINDOWS VISTA/ WINDOWS UPDATE ERROR # 80040154
I keep checking for updates and everytime i get this message "Windows could not search for new updates" and YES i do i have an internet connection and i used to get updates with no problem when i first installed Windows Vista and i can access the internet at any time, but yet for some reason Windows Update cannot...i tried the online Knowledge base article and i tried Windows Help and Support but even that doesnt have the exact error number when i search for it. I need help because I havent been able to install any updates since August and my PC is going haywire because of it. I just need to install Windows Updates regularly...i mean i paid an arm and a leg to own a license for Windows Vista and i cant even update it! Please help.
