    my HP laptopcrash with XP home I have the same data on another HP laptop but with Vista home how do I trasfer this data?

    onthe laptop that crashed try pressing f8 as it boots you shooul dge t ascreen thta gives yo u different options for running winows athte boot m if the driv ewas setup right you should have an option for system restore
    with a crashed OS there is NO way without physically swapping hard drive sto do what you wnat
