SetThreadExecutionState RRS feed

  • Question

  • From my testing with SyncToy 2.1 it appears that when starting, SyncToy does not call SetThreadExecutionState to tell the system not to sleep.

This means that when the computer wakes to run SyncToy as a scheduled task, the computer sleeps again after 120 seconds, even if SyncToy is still running.

If there are plans for future releases of SyncToy, can I please request that the required code is added to call SetThreadExecutionState correctly, so that SyncToy prevents computer sleep due to system idle timers?

    Thanks!
