TechNet Plus Windows Vista Ultimate no longer genuine ~ RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Starting today I got the "Error: 0xC004D401" window and my Vista is no longer genuine -.-

Also visiting www.microsoft.com/genuine and clicking on Validate gives me an error: "The validation service is unable to determine whether this copy of Windows Vista is genuine."

I checked the key at the TechNet Plus site, it is correct.

    Here´s the MGADiag.exe output:

I have indeed installed 2 games that use nProtect and I noticed after I play the games I get that error. Altho that thread doesnt provide any solution to this problem. I noticed if I restart my windows the error goes away, but thats not really a solution -.-
