Unread filter shows my own posts/answers?

Question

Using the Unread filter in the 'old' fourm format did not show my own posts/answers; expected behavior. New format shows them. Why was this changed?

As far as I know, it's a bug. We used to register a view right after you post, so that your new post comes before the time you "last viewed" a thread. I think we just forgot that. It should be fixed for our next monthly release.

While you are doing this can you please remove deleted posts from X from the User Threads list for X that a Moderator sees.Moderators who are wanting to delete spam posts from spam posters see all the earlier threads from poster X where they have deleted the spam and have no way (other than signing out) to see only the new spam posts they want to delete (and if signed out the posts can't be deleted so you need to sign in again!).

Interesting. I'm not sure how it worked under 3.x, but I see your point and I'll talk to the team on Monday...

It worked the way I described above in v3 too. In fact I just now needed to check in v*4* that it was still the same (with my "favorite" spammer) and it was.
