Office 2003 excel just started failing GWA RRS feed

  • Question

  • Excel just started experiencing errors and requires a patch, but getting a failed Genuine Windows Advantage.  This system was purchased through Dell with Office 2k3 professional installed on it.  To prove it came pre-loaded- here is the Dell Service tag CY60X81.  You can view original equipment on it from the dell site showing Office 2k3 Pro.  Here is the diagnostic.

  • According to your MGA report, you have a non-genuine, Volume License copy of Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 installed.  Since Dell only sells OEM software and not Volume License software, you'll need to contact Dell support for a resolution.  You can print a copy of your MGA report and fax it to them for their review.
