Having achieved MCSA in Server 2003 last year, I decided to shift tact and take the MCITP path instead. I have recently completed the relevant conversion exam (70-648) and the Application Infrastructure exam (70-643). For both of these exams I used
Microsoft's Self Paced text books - assumed these would be a definitive guide. Sorely dissappointed as, despite the exams being very R2 technology based, no revised editions of the books are available that cover the R2 elements. I was wise this fact with the
70-643 and did a lot of reading around on the internet.
I'm now studying for 70-647. As it is such a beast of an exam, I would like a definitive study book - can anybody recommend something that not only imparts all the learning needed to take the exam but is also up to date and includes R2 technologies?
Is there a 2nd edition of the MS Self Paced book in the pipeline - after all, R2 is nearly 2 years old and no sign of any updates yet.
