Windows 7 Activation Fails after upgrading HD on Dell Latitude E6400

Question
-
Hi there.
I have genuine Windows 7, but I've been getting a "This Computer is not running Genuine Windows" window pop up recently.
It's been popping up ever since I upgraded the hard drive. I had a 70gb WD drive, which I upgraded to a 750gb Seagate. I used Windows 7 system tools to backup the old drive to an external hard drive, then used the windows 7 rescue CD to restore to the new drive, and expanded the C partition to include the remaining space on the drive.
Computer is a Dell Latitude e64000 (notebook)
Below is the Diagnostic Report that I got from running the MGADiag.exe tool suggested elsewhere in these forums.
Any ideas?
Cheers, Silas.Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0):

You have an invalid copy of Windows installed. This copy is an OEM SLP copy which is only valid installed at the factory.
Windows Product ID Type: 2
Windows License Type: OEM SLPThe problem is that your computer was manufactured on May 11, 2009.
<Date>20090511000000.000000+000</Date>
This was several months before Windows 7 released to manufacturing on July 24. 2009. This copy of Windows was copied from a later computer and installed on this one using an activation exploit, or loader.
Restore the original copy of Windows that shipped on this computer or purchase a full license copy of Windows 7.

Thank you for your help.
I purchased an upgrade version of Windows 7 and installed it. That fixed the problem. There is a valid windows vista (OEM) serial under the battery
I originally bought the laptop from an ebay vendor - windows 7 was pre-installed - and it was only after upgrading the hard drive that the problem was noticable.
I'm happy to provide the vendor details if it's useful. Let me know where I should email those, if required.
Cheers,

You can report it to Microsoft. This is not Microsoft, however. This is just a user forum hosted on Microsoft servers for the convenience of its customers. Do not put identifying information on a public forum. Report to piracy@microsoft.com.

Thanks Colin. Since I bought the laptop from an Australian vendor, I've reported the issue to aupiracy@microsoft.com
Greatly appreciate your help. Wish I could buy you a beer or something.
