  • It seemed to wok with IDE, but I would like to run the controller in AHCI mode, getting BSOD..

    Can this be done?

    Any idea?

First, WHS is 32-bit only (so you might as well remove at least 2 GB of RAM since you'll never get any use out of it).

Does it even get to the Welcome to Windows Home Server screen?  Have you tried using that media in a different computer (to see if it's a problem with either the media or the DVD drive)?

  • Try a different DVD-ROM drive.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
