Genuine advantage wont let me download "Save as PDF or XPS" add-in

Question
-
I'm trying to download
2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS
but the validation fails stating:
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007:
Validation IncompleteThe validation process could not be completed. Necessary files may have been tampered with. The validation tool is unable to verify whether your copy of Office is genuine.
[0x80180112]I'm using office home & student retail, and it activated sucessfully on this machine, so I don't know why the WGA tool wont pass it.

Actually, after trying the standard method several times and failing.. I tried the alternate method (the OGCheck.exe thing) and that worked just fine - so I was able to get my download after all.
If someone could let me know why the standard method fails me though? I see no reason why it should. I bought my copy of office myself, and the key hasn't been out of my sight.

Lee,
Thank you for posting the Diagnostic results. This will enable us to analyze your situation. First I would like to address the PDF add-in utility for your MS Office 2007. Please follow this link @ http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA101675271033.aspx. Next locate the heading “Install and use the Save as PDF or XPS add-in from Microsoft” and click on the hyperlink in number 1. This will provide detailed information for adding PDF capabilities to your MS Office 2007. Please re-post and let me know if you need further assistance. There are many situations where it is useful to save your file in a fixed-layout format that is easy to share and print and hard to modify. Examples of these situations include resumes, legal documents, newsletters, and any other file that is intended to be primarily read and printed. The 2007 Microsoft Office system offers a free add-in to save or export this type of file, but you must first install the add-in before you can use it. Other third-party products may also be available to export a Microsoft Office file into a fixed-layout document. Hope this will provide info so you can understand more :-).
Thankyou,
Stephen Holm, MS

Lee,
We request all users initially run the Genuine Diagnostics tool to try and identify the issue you may be having.
Download and run the utility at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 , then click the Windows tab, Copy to Clipboard, then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum.
Step 2 is tell us about the COA. Tell us:
1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center?
2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?
4. DO NOT post the Product Key.
5. Please also provide a short description of the issue you are experiencing.NOTE: The data collected with the Genuine Diagnostics Tool does NOT contain any information that can personally identify you and can be fully reviewed, by you, before being posted.
Thank you,
Stephen Holm, MS
