Licence agreement issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My daughter had Office Home and Student 2007 installed on her laptop. I had already installed it on two computers at home. Her laptop has broken and she has bought another one. The old one is now kaput. I need to re-install NOT transfer.

I have read the licence agreement online and I understand that OEM licences die with the computer that they are installed on. There is no OEM on my product key and the certificate of authenticity sticker was across the disc box lid so it was damaged when I opened the box. All I can see is ?TX not OEM. I've looked at www.microsoft.com/office/eula but that doesn't make any reference to my issue. I have the full product key number and a 14 digit number on the certificate of authenticity.

Can I try to load the program on her new laptop?
