  • HI,

    There is a following configuration:

    - OCS 2007 Front End + Mediation Server
    - We have configured: VoIP Gateway and PBX\PSTN
    - We have configured: Voice Properties:  Location Profile, Policy и Routes.
    - User1:  enable Enterprise Voice

    Тест1 (Outbound call)

    User1 call (use communicator) on number 5555. All ok.

    Restart communicator.

    Outbound call - ok.

    Test2 (Outbound call and Inbound call)

    We fill attribute:

    User Properties - Communications - Configure - Line URI (example tel:1111).

    Outbound call - OK

    Inbound call -OK

    Restart communicator.

    Outbound call - false.

    An error occurred during the call. More details (ID:18)

    Inbound call - false (We receive only an entering call, we can not answer)

    Test3

    We delete Line URI

    Restart communicator.

    Outbound call - OK

    Help to adjust correctly Enterprise Voice, plz.

  • With RTM the Line URI must be in E.164 format, e.g. +12345678999 otherwise you get ID:18 which is not documented, by the way.

  • Hello Mikhail,

    Which VOIP Gateway and PBX are you using? It should be possible to configure OCS server with PBX without setting up a Mediation server.

  • Hi,

    would be nice and helpful if you could post if/how you have solved the problem. I have nearly the same problem.

    Installed

    OCS 2007 EE

    an extra Mediation Server

    an openSER with  some other pbx linked over the openser

    enabled enterprise voice

    line URI = +49xxxxxxxxxxxxx

     Calls from a oc user without line URI to the one with line URI over sign-In name OK

     Calls from a oc user without line URI to the one with line URI over line URI number OK

     Calls from every oc User over openSER to pbx's telephones OK

    BUT

    calls from a telephone plugged to the pbx over the openser to the ocs user FAIL

    The Call goes throug to the client it gives a very short ring and the the call ends

    Monitoring the SIP-Traffic shows:

    The INVITE goes through the complete way to the client

    client answers Trying and gives a short ringing

    Server then sends CANCEL

    SIP/2.0 500 Internal Server Error.

    After the Call, the OC User has the number of the phone in his Contactlist. The number ist 49xxxxx.

    Would be very nice, if somoeone has a hint, what goes wrong.

    Thnaks a lot

    Greatings

    The Karbon

  • Hi Karbon,

    I have same scheme installed as yours (except EE).
    OCS2007 SE <==> Mediation Server <==> OpenSER <==> PBX

    When i try to call using OC to the one of extention in PBX, it rings and OC gives sign of connected if i pick up the phone, but i don't hear anything. I suppose there is something wrong with my openser configuration. i thought it because if i hangup the phone, OC shows still connected, but if i hangup from OC, the phone hangsup too.

    the openser config:
    Code Block

    route {
    if (!mf_process_maxfwd_header("10")) {
    sl_send_reply("483","Message from SER!! Too Many Hops");
    exit;
    }
    # record_route(); ---> if i don't comment here OC just keeps on calling, never shows connected

    if (src_ip==172.16.35.230) --> pbx server {
    t_relay("tcp:172.16.35.148:5060"); -->forward to mediation server
    }
    else {
    t_relay("udp:172.16.35.230:5060"); --> forward to pbx server
    }
    }

    could you please post your openser config, as it seems already  working at your side.

    Thanks in advance

  • We are having similar issues.  We have Enterprise voice with pbx integration.  When we call from the OCS client to a regular phone we only get one way voice.  OCS client can hear fine but can not hear on the phone side.  Can someone please help and post some suggestions on what it could be?

    OCS Client<------voice works----phone

    OCS Client-------voice does not work----->phone

    Thanks

  • Here is how I am using SER (not OpenSER) with OCS and the Mediation Server

    Works great... I think it should work on OpenSER
