product key for office 2007

  my computer hard drive crashed and i lost EVERYTHING and i mean everything. 6.5 years of pics, files and docs. (backup people) i also lost office 2007. i have my original disc and product key. i typed it in and it says it is invalid. do i have to purchase another one? thanks, barry
