Upgrading from Evaluation Copy and getting Catastrophic Error RRS feed

  • I am upgrading from the evaluation copy and I am getting a catastrophic error on "Creating System Partition". I thought this was supposed to be easy.
    Here is a portion of the log:

    You have to provide more info than that.  Do you have all drives connected when you boot from the DVD?  Do you see all of your hard drives on the Load Additional Storage Drivers screen?  How far does it get before it fails?  Are you selecting Server Reinstallation from the drop-down menu?

  • Try a different DVD drive.
