Ubuntu DSVM Join to Active Directoy not Working RRS feed

  • Question

  • I joined an Ubuntu DSVM to my works Active Directory/Domain with my admin account added some domain AD groups to the sudoers file to give users access to run all commands and no one is able to use their AD user accounts with the U-DSVM. We have been joining RHEL, CentOS - DSVM's to the AD/Domain but for some reason the U-DSVM register in DNS but we cannot access them with our user accounts. The U-DSVM have the deep learning package in the system making the build a little different then the CentOS-DSVM.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,

I don't have specific advice for you, as this scenario should work. However, I will note that the CentOS DSVM now has some deep learning packages, so it may meet your needs there. If you still have issues with a specific Ubuntu DSVM and joining to a domain, please escalate to Azure support in the portal.
