Office 365 & CRM for Outlook - can sign into CRM in the browser but can't configure the plug-in [Windows 8.1] [Internet Explorer (IE) 11]

Question

I am able to log into CRM via the browser (both IE and Firefox) but can't configure the CRM for Outlook plug-in.
- I have Windows 8.1 that I've recently disassociated from my Microsoft account because...
- I have Office 365 with 32-bit Outlook client (my Microsoft account and my Office 365 have the same ID but different passwords; that seemed to fix another issue I was having)
- I've uninstalled the Sign-on Assistant just in case it was trying to use my Microsoft account instead of my Office 365 account
- Our CRM is the "partner-version" (aka extended trial) of CRM Online; build is 5.0.9690.3417

I've tried the CRM Online option when configuring the plug-in as well as the depicted link. It apparently is a bug introduced with IE11, per the supplied links.Sunday, January 5, 2014 2:35 AM
