Two Versions of one care in the same Circle??? RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I have Windows XP on one PC and Vista on my lap top. The version of onecare i bought would not work on my laptop, so I downloaded a trial version (2.0.2392.4) for the laptop and used the other version (2.0.2500.14) on my desktop. My Trial version is now expiring. How can I link the 2 PC's in the same circle?

  • The trial version you have is actually the beta and you need to remove it - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2690424&SiteID=2

Install OneCare once again from http://onecare.live.com and activate with the same LiveID that was used to activate your subscription on the desktop. On the desktop PC, open OneCare, click Help/About... to see the Subcription ID - that is the LiveID to use during activation on the laptop. Once activated with the same LiveID, they will be in the Circle and you can make one or both into a hub.
