Cant see circle RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I installed OneCare on two PC's and tried adding the second one to the first one's circle. But it never asks me to sign in and apparently neither PC really belongs to a circle even though I thought I made both hub PC's. I also subscribved for a year thinking that was what was missing, but it made no difference. How do I "create a circle" so I can share the subscription?

  • Can you explain the order in which you did things with the PCs? The way I would expect this to work properly (and it has for me) is that you install OneCare to one or more PCS. They all need to be on version 2.x.

You then activate both PCs with the same LiveID. The first activation creates the subscription. The activation on the second PC adds it to your subscription. Then on one or more PCs, you make that PC a hub. A short time later, after the PCs have both communicated with the OneCare servers, the hub PC will show an entry for the other PCs activated with the same LiveID for your subscription. If you add a 3rd PC, activation on that PC will cause it to appear on the hub(s) a short time later. The time delay depends on the communication between the PCs in the Circle and the servers.

If your PC is not communicating with the servers, the Circle cannot be created.
