  • I THINK THIS REALLY STINKS==i purchased a NEW computer with xp pro.  and it is a pirated copy---i never knew this!!  the place i bought it from just blows me off-and microsoft is not much help either--i feel like i am between a rock and a hard spot-SO FOR MY 500.00 PLUS-I BASICALLY PAID TO BE SCREWED----SO WHAT DO I DO NOW---WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY JUST TO BE VALIDATED-THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT.....

  • Please follow this WGA troubleshooting procedure:

    1. Download and install the WGA Diagnostic Tool: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. After running the WGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Validation" tab and then click on "Copy to Clipboard".

    3. Next, paste the results in a reply to this thread.

    4. A WGA troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend an appropriate solution.
